    That road schedule is brutal. If I had to guess, 4-8 or 5-7.

    I see it like this for the Buffs in '10

    CSU (Denver) W
    @Cal L
    Hawaii W
    Georgia L
    @Mizzou L
    Baylor W
    Texas Tech L
    @Oklahoma L
    @Kansas L
    Iowa St W (this team made a great coaching hire, could be a L)
    Kansas St W (they will not be that good next year IMO)
    @Nebraska L (Buff fans need to man up and spell it right, show some confidence)

    5 wins and 7 losses with a new coach by the end of the season. The next hire won't be a transitional coach and Buff fans will look to the future instead of the past.

    Exactly.. Its unfortunate we are playing Cal in the 2nd week.. If it was a Div 1AA program, CU might be able to get some confidence going early in the year into the game vs Georgia. Now we are all going to be bitching after we get blown out vs CAL asking when is this program going to get to the next level, we can't win a road game, blah,blah,blah.. :sad1:

    This program isn't at a level where it can afford to play these top BCS schools out of the nonconference.. More than one other BCS opponent in the nonconference is way too much at this time.. This ain't the 90's Buffs anymore..

    I thought when you played Hawaii you got an extra game?

    Is that only at Hawaii, I guess? Would make sense.

    It is only when you play an away game in Hawaii. You're allowed the extra game to make up for travel expenses.

    Buffs should be 3-1 headed into conference play. I like them to beat CSU in Denver and think Georgia is beatable in Boulder. Can't give them much of a shot at Cal.

    Without checking anyone else's responses, here's what I've got knowing what I know now.

    CSU (Denver) W
    @Cal L
    Hawaii W
    Georgia L
    @Mizzou L
    Baylor W
    Texas Tech W
    @Oklahoma L
    @Kansas L
    Iowa St W
    Kansas St W
    @Kneebraska L

    6-6. And I hate to say that's best case scenario, but at the moment I think it is. And while that record wouldn't be huge progress for most of us here (in that the late teams of Crowder and Mac wouldn't settle for this, no sir), it would equal the only season where we really showed promise into December with under the current regime. And hey, a bowl win would equal the first winning record. :gobuffs:

    Yeah you used to get an extra game if you play at Hawaii although I'm not sure if that's the case anymore with the 12 game schedule. I think they might have cut that out..

    sturart, fl!!! i spent about 4 years in vero beach. stuart is a nice place.

    i would always go to the jenson beach ale house to watch CU games when i lived there. i dont think that is too far away from you. i guess they call them the "miller ale house" now.

    Wow, weird for anyone to know tiny Stuart. My office is less than a mile away from the Ale House. I watched the Buffs play the corn there just a few weeks ago with some Gator buddies, who've humored me by cheering for good ole CU over the years.

    Stuart / Vero are the last holdouts for "old Florida". When we fall to the developers, there will be one straight coastal city stretching continuously from Miami to Jacksonville.

    Still in FLA?

    nope. i was in vero at FlightSafety Acadamy learning to fly. i have been gone since june of '99. my wife and i spent our honeymoon at my parents condo in vero in '03. we went back this last spring for the first time since we were married. it was a good time. its amazing at how much vero has "grown up". its not a bad town at all.

    i do miss having dr. rich and dr. glenn on the radio on a daily basis. those guys are great!!!! i do load them up on the internet from time to time.

    its a great area. just need to find a way to get rid of the fort..... :lol:

    Since Hawkins will be in charge I think we can count on losing a game or two that we should win, and wining a game we should have no chance in. Bottom line I don't think we win more than 4 games.

    12-0.

    Georgia game may be a loss, so, maybe 11-1.

    First game against CSU is CRITICAL. We win I can see us maybe (big maybe) going 3-1 non-conference. Lose that game and I think it is a real possiblity we could be 0-4.

    I'm picking something like 5 wins. Needing the Nebraska game to be bowl eligible and we all know about Hawks record on the road. Once again another offseason watching everyone else's team play in a bowl game.

    CSU (Denver) L
    @Cal L
    Hawaii L
    Georgia L
    @Mizzou L
    Baylor L
    Texas Tech L
    @Oklahoma L
    @Kansas L
    Iowa St L
    Kansas St L
    @KNU L

    Yeah but IF they get a W your gonna be stoked! Just think how happy you can now be if they win 4.
