I'm pretty sure CU was the first to offer Ian. Ian is Junior's nephew.

I was reading an article about the two high schools La Costa Canyon and Oceanside. They were talking about the difference in wealth and what not but thats not my point. They talked about Ian and how he would get yelled at by a captain or something and he would just say i quit and go to the locker room. then one of the captains would go talk to him and the article said this was a regular occurence. Im not sure i like the sound of that. but he is only a junior now. He's got time.

He's a kid. Cut him some slack. One thing I'll give Hawk the benefit of the doubt on is the character of the athletes he is recruiting.

Come on, Ian! We'd love to see you in Black 'N Gold!

    Stay healthy and have fun.

It would be nice to have the Seau name wearing black and gold.

A move to the Pac 10 would really help us recruit a kid like this.

Winning football games would help us get this kid. Conference is a small factor.

I'm not expecting Seau to commit early. USC was his leader even though he didn't have an offer. With all that's going on there, it may leave the window open.

Also, a recent Rivals article made it sound like Seau would prefer to stand up and rush the passer in a 34 defense, so we've got that going for us with our multiple sets and base 34.

Got a chance. He's made comments about wanting to make his own name for himself. So there's definitely part of him that wants to get away from southern California.

Went to ASU this past weekend, will be at KSU this weekend. Not sure why he waited so long or why he did not attract more intrest. Perhaps grades are an issue. Doesent seem like the new staff was ever interested.

That didn't sound quite right, Tempe is nice enough, so I googled it: Top ten college towns in America Tempe comes in at #8 (Boulder is #9). Just one guy's opinion, but then, so is yours. Got slapped instead of laid?

Manhattan is more of a dump...can't imagine for the life of me why anyone would want to go to school out there in the middle of nowheres...Ive been to Tempe a few times and it seems fairly decent...
