Reported Offers: COLORADO, Kansas, Ohio State

I can't find a highlight unless this is the same Jordan Smith who played at Archbishop Carroll in D.C. last year and he reclassified from a 2012 prospect to a 2013 prospect.

Mad rep to anyone who can do some digging and figure this out.

Also, props to bcs for finding the offer.

Edit: Assuming it's the right guy, these are the junior highlights:

he appears to be one and the same

Unusual highlight film. Footage of him blitzing, talking runners, and receiving. Very little of him in pass coverage. Certainly not enough to form an opinion of him as a db.

Interesting. Seems like a good sign to me if he actually holds and OSU offer

Agreed. When a school like OSU, who can get virtually any player that they want, offers a 2* evaluated kid then it means there's something there worth looking more closely at.

Penn State..

Not going to be many guys left on the roster that he has to beat out for playing time.

You have to wonder if as some other schools are starting to fill up their classes he didn't panic and grab a spot.

On the Titanic???

Agree, he'll never get to go to a bowl and by the time he is a senior the program will be so depleted for talent that they will be hoping just to get individual Big 10 wins.

That said you never know when an 18 yo is going to panic and jump to a decision. If he was told by a couple of schools that had been recruiting him that they didn't have a spot for him he might have gotten nervous and taken the PSU offer.

This also might mean that his commit may not be the most solid. If he gets heavy pressure from some other school that has a chance to do something he could just as easily switch.

So pedo state with four years of bowl sanctions gets his verbal over us............great.
We sure need a respectable year on the field.
