No scoopage here about Colorado interest, but Sweaty Teets noted in the coaching rumor thread that his primary recruiter is our new WR coach, and they apparently had a close relationship

From a wolfpack poster on another site:

He had a really good relationship with our best commit so far in WR Kyrin Priester. So good that Priester had planned on de-committing if Walters wasn't retained (he has taken back that comment, but he really liked Walters). I think he has some potential in the recruiting department, but TOB isn't known for closing the deal, so it's really tough to tell.

Rivals listed Mike Reed as being Kyrin's recruiter at NC State, not Walters. However, I'm still hopeful we can get him out for a visit. I doubt the kid has ever been out of the southeast.

Got dismissed from Clemson in 2014 and transferred to Washington State. Was dismissed from WSU before the 2016 season. Came back a couple of months ago and was just dismissed again. Think he's probably done with football.

Dude must have a ton of talent to have gotten so many chances. Sad to see it wasted.

Surprised there isn't at least one equipment shed on the WSU campus where he could have been put in time out.
