We have offered him early, despite how a certain attention whore on rivals might portray things.

Hopefully he'll come out for Junior Day this year. The way we stood strong by Yuri has to be a positive for us with Muhammad.

Visiting at the Spring Game (April 9th) per Random Internet Poster at rivals with Yuri and Al-Quadine...

Spring game is the 14th according to these smart guys. Hope this is just an error on your source's part and he's not just full of crap.

Error on my part because I saw he was visiting on April 9th according to 247 but that must have been last years timeline.

He is probably our holy grail of this recruiting class. Oh what a difference an elite DE makes to a Defense.
We have the maulers inside now we just need a stud DE to help complete the front 4.
Come on Yuri. Work your magic for us.

How much will Embree's recruitment of Yuri play into this? Not the fact that we signed him but how Jon treated him? Not to mention Jon's words in the presser afterword.

as tini noted earlier, 247 sports also says Quadine is visiting for the spring game.

It's a pretty big deal. The bigger deal is that when he sees big time locals like Tony Jones and Yuri Wright chose CU it tells him that this is a program that has a lot to offer.

Man this guy would be a huge boost. I think we may have a good chance considering our past with Don Bosco.

Notre Dame and Rutgers are the only ones I would be scared about.

This guy and a lot of these kids are monsters these days. Big and bad attitudes (on the field) is what the BUFFS need.

donmac posted an update on the Rivals board. It sounds like AQM has transcript issues from a rough freshman year before he transferred to Don Bosco. He may not qualify.

However, the good news here is that if CU stays on him through a year at prep school (or JUCO) that we would be in great position to sign him in 2014. There's still a chance he would qualify, but it's looking like he won't make it through the NCAA clearinghouse.

pretty early for non qualifier talk. must have been a really bad freshmen year

Yeah, it sounds like it was. And coupled with the difficulties Shumate had getting in at ND, it sounds like AQM is looking at his options, and may be looking at schools he knows will support him. This is where I think the way JE stood by Yuri will start to pay dividends.

This would be a class changer commitment. CU D is really shaping up for years to come, and recruits are taking notice.
