Hollins was a standout and generated a lot of buzz on the camp circuit last summer. He has been one of the better players in the Houston area the last two seasons, for two different schools. Look for him to be a national recruit when it is all said and done.

He had 9 sacks and 61 tackles during his sophomore season at Yates. His junior season at Marshall was even better: 15 sacks, 70 tackles, and 22 TFL.

AZ is reporting we have offered.

Hollins is a big-time prospect. Would love to see us get in his top group (he is a national recruit). Watch the highlights-he is a dynamic player.

“Washington is actually out in front for me right now,” he said. “(First-year Huskies assistant) Tosh Lupoi is my recruiter, and I can tell he’s a real ‘family-guy’ and he just seems like my brother/father. He’s just an excellent guy.”

We are on the outside looking in, but I really hope he stays out of the PAC-12 if he does not pick us. His film is outstanding.

UCLA is killing it on the recruiting front, or so it seems. If they can actually develop some of the talent they've had AND start recruiting Texas... that could be scary for the rest of the South because you know SC is going to get the best classes. UCLA could be dangerous.
