Welcome to AllBuffs Franke Fan. Nice to have Jase on board. Hope he has a terrific career here.

Kid looks like an outstanding pass rusher. Something we have been sorely lacking around here for quite some time. CUD is the only one that really comes to my mind in recent years.

Early season HL's. Looks good to me. Quick feet and nice burst off the line. I think he'll be a solid contributor in the Will Pericak mold.

43 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 13 TFL, 9 hurries this season according to the video

Definitely has a motor. Also noticed that he drops his hips when making contact with a blocker -- I would think that means he's using his lower body strength, which is prolly a good thing since most guys this big have gotten by by using their size and upper body.

UCLA visit? I'm shocked no one came up with a "Franke goes to Hollywood" reference...

Allbuffs and the other services (except 247) continue to list him as a DE. I think "D-Line" is more accurate and he said himself (Rivals) that depending on how big he gets, he'd play either at CU, which I presume means we want you inside but you are going to need to get bigger and stronger. Same principal we've talked about since HCMM got here as far as safeties becoming LB, and LB's becoming DE's, etc.

My source states that he is being recruited still by the Cali schools but that everyone projects him as a mobile DT. Good pass rusher, but stout inside against the run. His position will probably depend on whether you are playing a Stanford type or Oregon type of offense.

Versatility is a good thing.

Versatility is a good thing.

Adds a lot to a defense to have a guy who can play inside or outside. Offenses can play call easier when they know what the defense is likely to be based on the personel in the game. Having DL who can switch things up gives the defense more options and the offense less.

IGRSports.com sent me a link to these new Franke highlights. He's lining up mostly at DT and he's kicking some serious @#%.

Picked up a Cal offer per Rivals and UW tried to get him to visit although I'm not sure if a offer happened.
