Highlights unavailable - missed his junior year due to a shoulder injury.

His dad, Harald, played for the Broncos for 7 years and is a DL coach at Regis (Washington grad).

Terran doesn't have any offers yet, but is getting a lot of interest from the Pac-12. Stanford is the main threat, but if he doesn't get that offer the Buffs are in great shape.

Colorado has been in steady contact with Hasselbach.

“I’ve talked to the new coach (Mike MacIntyre) and they’re pretty cool and good guys,” said Hasselbach. “They welcomed me really well and I was at their spring football practices and had a chance to talk with the coaches.”

Dang. They sat next to me at the Bronco/Buffalo game that turned out to be Cutler's last home game. He was a little kid. Like 11 or 12, and not a big guy. Time flies?

Hasselbach is definitely one to watch. He could be the ultimate sleeper in the 2014 class.

    Rivals article from April:

"I visited CU and it is great," Hasselbach said. "I have lived in Colorado my whole life so I am definitely familiar with that program and I have some buddies going there as well. I talked to them, met some of the coaches, talked to [head] coach [Mike] MacIntyre and got to meet some other players after practice. It went really smoothly. I train with [Buffs fullback] Jordan Murphy and my Regis teammate Robert Orban is going there to play. They obviously have a new program that is starting up again with a new staff and from how they spoke to me, it seems like that is going to go well."

Hi my name is Terran Hasselbach. I saw this post through a parent. I am a hybrid defensive end/ outside linebacker on Regis Jesuit's football team. I posted a video of my first game this season above. My stats for the game were as follows:2 sacks, 6 tackles, 2 assists, 2 tackles for a loss,1 forced fumble and 5 pressures.

I was in a serious car accident that almost killed myself and my father my freshman year and doctors placed me out of sports for 2 years. I trained hard and came back to play my junior year and during practice my shoulder popped out and took the cartilage with it. I had to undergo surgery and 6 months out of football. I have continued to train with Loren Landow and my father and my coach at Regis Jesuit.

I am back and above is my 1st game

I am so hoping that Coach MacIntyre and staff offer you a scholarship. If not for the junior year injury, I believe you'd firmly be in the Colorado Top 5 prospects conversation right now with Ballage, McCaffrey, etc.

I would like an Orange Crush connection on the roster with Terran and Ihenacho. Maybe Dawkins Jr too a year after.

Nice. Quick and great motor and also great genes too! Kind of reminds me of Gillam in size and speed. Think he'd be an LB or DE?

I think some of my friends from Regis that are up here at CU may have told me about that story. That is an incredible story and pray for a healthy season. Keep up the work!!!

I'm glad you stopped by AllBuffs, young Mr Hasselbach. It's great to hear that you've regained your health and are working hard to make it to the next level. To the AB posters -- just a reminder that we need to be careful what we say to Terran. Comments or posts that appear to be recruiting the young man could result in undue attention from the ncaa.

Pretty impressive film. I'd love to add that kind of explosiveness to the D. Hopefully he gets an offer soon.

Hey Kid / maybe future BUFF - keep your head in the game, in the books, and keep training hard. Good things will come your way. You are gifted with the physical tools, now just go get what you want, the rest is cerebral...

Oh man. If the kid can get/stay healthy he is a baller. Absolute monster up front. Terran if you havent yet, make sure you email staffs. Show them your tape. Also if you can afford it, don't be afraid of a walk on invite. Coaches will reward talent with scholarships if they are confident that you are back to 100%

Good luck this season and good luck on wherever you end up in college. Would be great if you could play for the home team though.

This kid won't be a walk on candidate. He will get PAC-12 offers.

The fact that he has not only stuck with it but excelled considering all the challenges he has faced says huge things about his character. He had plenty of opportunity to quit and nobody would have blamed him if he did but he kept at it.

This is the kind of thing that shows someone who teammates can count on when things get tough on the field.

He could be one of those guys we look back on in a few years and say he was a key in turning this program back into a winner.

With his apparent pass rushing abilities, even with a repaired shoulder, there is no doubt he would be one of those kind of players.

FLounder, potentially he may get those offers. It is yet to be seen if coaches are going to take a wait and see attitude with his injuries. Could you imagine the kid in our program after a redshirt season to fully rehab and get fully healthy... he would be an absolute monster.

Wow, very impressive film. This kid is a stud and should have some major offers coming his way, especially after a showing like that against Sam Jones and Thunder Ridge.
