'14 TX OT Elijah Rodriguez (Verbal to Texas)

I know these are just young kids and we should cut them some slack, but after all his talk about God and loyalty... it's kind of sickening to see him turn his back on CU. That shows poor character on his part. It may sound like sour grapes to you, but whatever. I wouldn't want someone like that here anyway.

Yeah no losers like Sam Wilder, we wouldn't want a kid like that who switches a commitment like that would we?

As far as ER goes, sad he flipped, but happy with the immediate get the coaches had as the backup plan. In the immediate future, we needed some help right now, and he fills that. ER wasn't playing this year and maybe not next year, so short term, this helped. Yeah.....both would have been nice.

Saw while looking at the news of the recent Texas OL transfer that Rodriguez was in line to be the starting RT this season as a redshirt junior, but recently had ankle surgery.

We sometimes overstate recruiting losses, but this one actually did hurt.
