'15 CO RB Milo Hall (Verbal to Wyoming)

If you guys get the chance I would highly recommend watching Milo in the title game. He is really exciting and fun to watch.

I've been to like seven creek games. He's the most exciting player I've seen. That includes the McDondles at columbine and those guys if it wasn't for being morons in high school wouldve been highly recruited. Why not offer him? Gives a good pipeline to creek and you get a respectable player. He isn't as much of a reach of the guys we have been offering.

He might be one of the most exciting HS players in years in Colorado. That doesn't mean that he would be a good fit or worthy of a P5 scholly offer by a program that has way to many other holes to fill.

If we were already deep at most positions and had young guys in line who could be every down backs or receivers he might be worth looking at as a specialty player who could be a KR/PR, 3rd down specialist.

I love to see local kids succeed and especially when they do it at CU but the fact that he doesn't have other PAC offers is telling. It isn't like he is hidden playing at Cherry Creek.

We should use a scholly for a kid that no other PAC schools want just because he is local? That's the same kind of logic that people use saying we should go to the MWC because we owe it to the other schools in the region.

Milo might very well be a guy who can contribute for the Buffs, at the same time legitimate questions say he won't.

If he wants to be a Buff then he might be a great candidate as a PWO. M2 has a good history with WO players and I'm guessing that Ryan Moeller who walked on is going to be on scholly sooner than later.

I don't know anything about the kid, but I'm reminded of Barry Sanders, who was a tiny guy who could do incredible things with the ball in his hands. I don't know how heavily recruited Sanders was. He ended up backing up Thurman Thomas for a year at OSU. Is Hall that kind of player? Some folks seem to think he could be.

Barry Sanders level, absolutely not. I do think he could be a very productive college back, though. Similar to Rodney Stewart. Personally, I really like Milo, and I think he could be a really nice addition to the class depending on we feel about our RBs and our RB depth.

He camped with CU. Report was that he's small without the frame to get thick and that he wouldn't run by anyone in the PAC-12. But a good kid with some wiggle who could be a contributor at a place like Wyoming.

That could well be the case but part of me thinks that Milo does have a little room to gain some weight. I've seen him up close and it seems like he has a thick chest but his arms and legs are still kind of skinny which makes me think there might be a some room for additional weight. I could be completely wrong though. He has A LOT of wiggle by the way.

Creek won 25-24 and Hall apparently had the flu and still rushed for more than 200 yards.

You think he deserves an offer?

Wellllll…. I watched most of the game. He has a good OL in front of him, and he's shifty, picks his spots and cuts well, but he doesn't have blazing P5 speed. A very INTELLIGENT runner. I can see why he has the offers that he has. Will play college football. On a really good college team with a really great run blocking OL, he would do very well. Not positive he would help CU that much. Milo should take the Wyo offer and soon.

BTW, massive kudos to Logan for expunging Valor, in kind of a down year for Valor.

Good analysis. I'd like to know what rosstr thinks.
