If I'm reading this right, Dante gave us some fantastic news for the scholarship numbers. This sounds to me like he's planning to be an early enrollee and be at CU in January 2017, which would allow CU to count back his scholarship to 2016 and still have 25 to offer in the 2017 class.

"I just went to Colorado's spring game yesterday. I have been working out everyday twice a day and then I'm doing field work on the weekends. I knew that many people were questioning my ability to run routes efficiently and have the speed to make plays in the open field. I'm aiming to be a captain so I'm going to have a more vocal role on the team this year.

"I loved it (the spring game). Colorado still hasn't labeled me as of now but it's most likely that I'll be playing tight end. I love their offensive scheme with Darrin Chiaverini as the new offensive coordinator and I can't wait to get up there in January. I think I fit perfectly in the offense because the tight end moves around a lot. They need to block but also get open during routes.

Great news about January enrollment. Not only does it add flexibility to the numbers but it also give him a spring camp and an extra half year with the S&C program. Going to put him way ahead in development.

my heart always skips a beat when a thread for one of our big recruits suddenly pops to the top. Glad this was good news.

Seems like a good deal for Dante which is most important. I could see it going either way for the buffs. Might be great, might open doors he would have to explore. Time will tell.

I wonder if this increases or decreases the chances that he would enroll early.
