Would be nice to end that streak, but I'm not getting hy hopes up.
Since LSU in '71:
72: Auburn (Gator Bowl) L: 3-24
73: @LSU (#15, CU #10) L: 6-17
74: @LSU (#9) L: 14-42
79: LSU L: 0-44 (Ouch, at home)
80: @LSU L: 20-23
90: Tenn (#8, CU #5; Anaheim, Kickoff Classic) T: 31-31
91: Alabama (#8; CU # 15; Blockbuster Bowl) L: 25-30
06: @UGA (#9) L: 13-14
07: Alabama (Indy Bowl) L: 24-30
Hey the last 5 have been within 6 points each. We're about to "pop" against the SEC!
We very well could have beaten Bama in 91, but Mac brought out a brand new offense to show off to potential recruits. Also, there were allegations of cheating, I think from Coach Hagan who said that Bama staff were watching their practices from a nearby overpass.
Amazing how close all those game have been the past 20 years. Time to end this and give more evidence that the Pac-12 is the 2nd best football conference in the country behind the SEC.
I was at that game and the Nebraska football team was sitting in front of us cheering on Bama
We should've beat UT in '90 instead of tying them because we blew a 14-point lead late in that one.
But we didn't beat them
Sorry, but there's no way the classiest fans/team in the history of the planet would EVER do that!!
We really should have won alot of those games. Looks like Fairbanks had 'em coached up in '80
Wow, why LSU so much? Odd.
i wondered about that when i was putting the list together. Maybe Crowder had a buddy in LSU's AD? We also played Oregon a lot in the 70's. Different times I guess.
We have ties to LSU now as well with Miles and Sal's son.
