That's a fine looking jersey. No stupid crap on the shoulders. No junk along the seams. I'm getting one. Possibly more. My birthday is coming up. Who's pitching in to get me one of those bad boys? I'll take a #3 in XL, please.

Ahhhh! Can we do anything 100% right? Do they realize how much $$$ they could make customizing these?

I was just looking at CUbuffs.com this morning to see if they had those. The actuals were Russell, with slick lycra shoulders, tight lycra side panels and large mesh sand knit body. not terribly sexy on me know, but wasn't really a wear-around-campus jersey then either. The tight arm cuffs do feature the pythons rather well, however...:smile2::puke:

the jersey from the 1989-90 Orange bowl has embrodered patches, the 90-91 patches are screen printed. Dad has the 89-90 jersey.

Hate to be the downer, but the "COLORADO" isn't nearly big enough on the front of the throwback, when compared to the original. It's a helluva step forward, but just lacks that pretty significant detail.

yeah, it's the "new" trademarked (you can see the TM underneath the script) Nike "font". like you say, it's a helluva step in the right direction from the awful home unis we have now (by CU's standards since Mac--and i think for the time, the Crowder, Mallory duds are pretty respectable.

Darn you're right! Big difference. Hmm... now you made me pause before ordering, and now I'm not sure I want one.

Is the #1 a pitch to get EB back?

This. The lack of huge font is a total buzzkill--if they're going to make a throwback, make it right.

I agree but I think the actual game day jerseys that the players are going to be wearing will be a lot closer to the old school 90's jersey as far as the text goes. If you check out the video on the coaches tour at around 52 seconds in one of the guys holds up the game jersey and the COLORADO definately looks bigger than the nike one posted here that we can buy. Not quite as big as the text when you compare it to the EB photo but bigger than the nike jersey available for purchase.
