My avatar would agree
It just happened to be on about the U is why I brought it up. We should of won that game, I think it was Fauria dropped a pass in the end zone. Should of won anyway.
Also wonder if FlaBuff was there?
Geez never heard about that.
Remember that like it was yesterday. Heard about it as soon we got back to the dorm. A buddy of mine still gives me crap about it.
Were you that girl?
Game story ... http://www.cuatthegame.com/1993/cu-vs-miami-sept-25-1993/
First CU game for my then girlfriend/now wife. Quite the introduction to Colorado football ...
I did a search for the brawl yesterday, and your article came up. Very good stuff.
Your buddy was crazy.
Still the worst officiated game I have ever seen.
He was the best man at my wedding, and my best friend for 30+ years now. Says something about my choices ...
Agreed. Never seen that call before or since. Dennis Trailer Trash got some favors that day. Great comeback by the Buffs and should have been their day....
Eat a dick ****face.
I graduated in 92 so the Fiesta Bowl v. Syracuse was my last game. My dad and I flew out since CU was finally playing a team from Florida. Saw it unfold from the stands.
Those were crooked-assed Big East refs. They screwed up that game, and then were shown utterly incompetent in the Orange Bowl for the NC--FSU over Nebraska.
What I remember most from that game is Chris Hudson just taking the damn ball from some hurricane in the fourth quarter. Hudson was awesome.
I believe it was #23, I forgot his name. Yes CHud was damn good.
I remember Westbrook taking a run and trying to kick Dwayne Johnson's head off. Someone must have took notice of Johnson's sweet evasive maneuvers and saw action star.
Ha ha I forgot the Rock was playing there. Steroid taking mofo, dude is massive.
Hudson ripped it from #28, James Stewart.
My bad, I remember the play, couldn't remember the number.
Is there a pic of this anywhere?

I remember Westbrook swinging his helmet as a weapon. I lost all respect for him at that game.
I've seen Miami players do worse. I was more disappointed when he jumped on Stephen Davis that time. Everybody ran with that one.
I don't care what the Miami players had done, I held/hold CU to a higher standard than the criminal band that was Miami.
I hear ya, wasn't disagreeing really, was more disappointed with the other incident is all I was saying.
I remember the photo of James Hill swinging his helmet while the Miami player was held prone (his facemask had separated and his face was exposed). I don't remember Westbrook swinging his helmet. There was a photo that ran in the DC of him high-kicking somebody in the throat, through.
Separate names with a comma.
