2010 Running Back Recruiting (Scholarship Breakdown)

If our offensive line is anything like last year, we got issues.

They should be ready now, Miller and solder have been hyped a ton,it's time for these two to be dominant like everyone says they are. Givens is supposed to be "nasty" too. No excuses, time to pancake and roadgrade people.

How many rb's do we need? Time to get some wr's in here.

Two in the 2010 class and 1 in 2011 (preferably Adonis Ameen-Moore). Considering we did not take one in the 2009 class, we need a couple.

I'm thinking three WRs (all high schoolers) in the 2010 class. That would give us five high school WRs in two classes that we could mostly bring along slowly.

This moore kid, how good is he? Depending on simmons, they may not get the chance to be brought along slowly. Clemons will help and if celestine is back then your scenario would certainly play out,and that would be a good thing.

A good rule of thumb is one player per position per year. That's about 23 per year as you throw in a punter and kicker in alternating years or so. RB is a position where you need a little more depth than that.

We took three (Scott, Polk, Speedy) in 2008 and zero in 2009. Polk has moved to DB. I'd guess we are looking to get 1-2 more still. There's got to be some question as to whether Mister Jones ends up a RB and can prove durable enough.

I doubt CU is considering Moore in their numbers this year. Feb 2011 is too far away to be taking him into consideration. He looks like an NFL guy now imo, speed willing.

He's good. I saw him play as a freshman, and he was a man among boys then. The whole package, size, speed, power, vision, explosiveness. I don't think I saw them throw to the RB's, so that may be a problem, I don't know. The Mullen OL is pretty dominant, though. So that needs to be considered. Figure that during that game, Bryce Givens was blocking for him.
