2011 PAC 12 & Colorado Preps Recruiting Tracker

Holding out hope for Willingham, Jones seems like a real longshot now, and EY is still out there, but any other prospects at LB?

USC strikes again by raiding Stanford for its 26th commit: Anthony Sarao, LB, NJ, (4*/ 4*/ 3*). The Cardinal are down to 21 now.

Do the Buffs have room for another linebacker?

Oregon just pulled the scholarship offer from September verbal Kyrie Wilson, LB, CA, (3*/ 3*/ NR) out of Bakersfield. 6'2" and runs a sub-4.6 forty.

I hate to peg every linebacker as a fullback, but those are the correct measurables, no?

Might be a little tall, but we definitely need to move some guys to fullback. Maybe he would fit the bill or allow us to move one of the other linebackers. Now that you bring it up, maybe this is why we seem to be over-signing at LB this year.

We need to save some room for DT'S, we have plenty of LB's/FB'S.

If I've learned anything in the last five years, Syko, it's that a 6'2" 235 lb. linebacker works just fine as a DE, and if you bump him up to 255, he can do the job on the interior.

Arizona State lost a DT commit to Michigan State: Matt Ramondo, DT, NM, (3*/ 3*/ 3*).

The Sun Devils are down to 13 commits now. No wonder they strong-armed Peat to cancel his CU visit.

Austin Traphagan, a 6'5" 280 lb OT from Yuma (a small town on Colorado's eastern plains), has committed to play his college football at Wyoming. Congrats to Austin!

Washington is up to 22 commitments.

They accepted a WR that CU had passed on after initially scheduling an OV: Marvin Hall, WR, CA, (3*/ 3*/ NR).

They also stole a DT commit from Wazzou: Stephan Nembot, DE, CA, (3*/ 3*/ NR).

Washington continues to have a good day, getting a re-commitment from someone who had dropped them and decided to look around (visited CU): Kameron Jackson, CB, CA, (3*/ 3*/ 3*).

He's been committed to Florida State forever. For some reason, Colorado just popped up as an offer with medium interest. At first I thought someone got confused with CSU (they offered very early with a hope and a prayer), but we're both in there and CU is where the interest is.

Don't get your hopes up, but you never know until you know. You know?

Gregory Henderson, a talented but undersized cornerback from Norco, is the Buffs' 10th commitment.

Gregory Henderson, CB, CA, (2*/ 2*/ 1*)

USC is down to 25 commitments after being dropped today by Marcus Martin, OL, CA, (3*/ 3*/ 3*).

He will decide among Colorado, Arizona and USC.

Utah hires Norm Chow and loses its QB recruit to Washington. Hmmm.

Derrick Brown, QB, CA, (3*/ 3*/ 3*)

Washington won a recruiting battle with CU for its 25th pledge: Paulay Asiata, OL, HI, (3*/ 4*/ 3*).

Washington adds #26: Marcus Peters, CB, CA, (3*/ 3*/ 3*).

Expect some attrition from this class. Good one, though.

Washington stole Washington State's top commitment: Bishop Sankey, RB, WA, (4*/ 4*/ 3*).

Oregon secured another good wide receiver: B.J. Kelley, WR, CA, (3*/ 3*/ 4*).

Is Washington lobbying to get an SEC invite or something? Oversigners...

No:lol:

Right now they stand at 25 commits (Coleman is a de-commit due to poor academics and is officially going the JC route). Two of the 25 have essentially enrolled already and count toward last year's class, lowering the number of this year's commits to 23. If UW takes 25 for this year's class they still have at least 2-3 more spots. There is at least one other UW commit who will likely not qualify and end up going the JC route.

Do your boosters contact the parents directly or just wait for the parents to give them an amount?

USC continues to roll, picking up Arizona OG Cyrus Hobbi (4*/4*/4*). Big blow to UCLA (was thought to be a lean here at one time) and ASU.
