#8 Colorado Buffaloes v #9 Pitt Panthers - Round of 64 - Orlando, FL - GAME THREAD

No. I think they didn't know what to expect and ran into a team that featured 2 5th-year seniors that knew what it took. Moment overwhelmed the Buffs a bit and the opponent was in the mode of seizing that moment. Perfect storm for what happened.

Pretty sure Josh, XJ, Askia, Mills and Gamble knew what to expect. It wasn't their first dance.

Does anyone think the Buffs were kind of subliminally satisfied to just make it into the tourney? I think the battle to get in after SD went down just sapped them.
Not at all, they could've easily lost more games than they did and everyone would've attributed to Spencer going down. I don't think Thursday was their day and Pittsburgh was just a better team, although it should've been closer, I don't think losing by a substantial should've come as that much of a surprise.

I think it was Beau's first (playing).

This is certainly true.
