That seems like a nice number to me with how well the Buffs are playing right now.

I see only 7 and 7'. I probably would have taken a shot at 9. Expected 8. Bummer.

I think that line is set intentionally high by Vegas knowing how many Arizona fans will be there. Money will be on UA. Kind of like how you can find really good lines when betting against USC and Notre Dame in football.

Vegas doesn't really make the lines anymore. They originate and are moved offshore.

That used to be the case, especially with the Lakers and LA football teams. Not so much anymore.

Interesting. I thought the major casinos still all independently employed a bookmaker.

It's a very efficient market. Some will have independent lines, but if they are ever more than a half point off market and they don't have really small limits, they'll get pounded back in line. One or two sharp/syndicate bets on an off market line will dwarf all the tourist money in the pool in minutes.

A perusal of a few AZ bases indicates a much more respectful perspective towards CU than last time. Less confidence, more concern.

    https://www.sportsinsights.com/blog/ncaab-game-of-the-week-arizona-vs-oregon/

I wouldn't normally post this type of stuff here, but since this is a quasi-gambling thread and it deals with PAC12 basketball, specifically Arizona, it ties a little to the discussion in this thread.

If you're not interested in gambling, don't bother clicking. I found it interesting, but yoy'll find it very boring.
