A Lost Game: Pitt Survives CU Rally, 25-23 In 1931

I think he means "Discrepancy". But what the hell do I know? I'm the allbuffs resident moron.

These are hilarious.

Reading how the game ended with Pitt going to its stall game with bullet passes zipping around the court and this gem:

Pitt seemingly had the game in the bag when Colorado uncorked its sensational finish. The Panthers were out in front, 25 to 19, with six minutes to play when the fireworks started.

I realized something. College basketball fans in the 1930s are exactly like soccer fans today.

Those old articles are kind of entertaining - stuff like playing Piggly Wiggly and calling dear old CU "Colorado University".

Surprised DBT hasn't given us an eyewitness account yet.

I wouldn't count on a good eyewitness account from him. Back in '31 they were still decades away from having the technology to fix his glaucoma.

Reminds me of that SNL skit with Michael Jordan and the grainy footage from an ancient BB game.
