WTFO?!?! Watching TTU-NU and ABC comes on with one of their "Heisman Moments" featuring Eric Crouch in 2001.
End of the spot says "Crouch won the Heisman in 2001 while leading his Nebarska Team to an undefeated regular season and a (undeserved, my add-on) trip to the national championship."

Now call me crazy, but I seem to remember sitting in section 203 the day after Thanskgiving watching Nebraska/CROUCH's undefeated season go up in flames to the tune of 62-36!

Freakin' ABC! Do better research you MORONS!

    Going Deep....

If Chris Fowler hears about this and doesn't raise hell I'm disappointed.

These boards have argued over Fowler before, so I'm not trying to raise another argument. However, I still have to defend Fowler. His job is a journalist - not to show an obvious bias like some commentators. Fowler is one of my favorite people in sports media - he's knowledgeable, professional, and steady in the booth. He did once give a shout out to the Buffs, but of course he can't do it all the time.

Yeah, yeah, we've heard it all before. If the other guys can get away be being such homers, then he can give CU some props a little more often.
Of course it's easier to do when the Buffs are winning, so it wont happen while the Hack is at CU.

Where did Mike Patrick go to school?

    Mushberger?

    Costas?

    Rece Davis?

Those are the guys with jobs equivalent to Fowler. And they don't pull the homer **** on the air. Fowler's job is not the same as Herbstreit or Holtz or guys like that....

I don't mind that his allegiances are invisible during the season. I just think behind the scenes he needs to ask someone who the hell was fact checking that Nebraska bit.

I have no problem with Fowler except that time he said he was to busy as a student to go to CU games or something like that. But, overall, he's a fine ambassador for CU.

Give Fowler more credit...he seems to try and mention CU as best he can. Last week he gave a shout out before the Texas game.

    damn.... again...

some of you need some education....

CF's job is not one that allows him to give opinion. he is a HOST of a show. his job is to be neutral.

herbie and corso, they are paid for thier opinions. that is thier job.

herbie and corso have a different job than CF.

again i will ponder this question. those of you who will bitch and moan about CF.... what do you do for a living?

do you have no understanding of job titles/roles/ responsibilities?

CF's job is not to suck the CU dick. its to host a college game day show. his role in that show is a host. not a paid hack for CU. herbie and corso are paid to give opinon.

and CF from time to time will give props to CU.

you dumbasses need a reality check when it comes to CF and his role on espn college gameday. the fact is, if he did the job as he does it now... and was an alum of say... michigan st/clemson/central michigan.... you people who bitch about him now.... you would not have one single problem with him.

    that is a fact.

quit yer bitching about CF and his job on gameday. he is doing a job. and that job is not to slob the knob of CU football no matter how much you want it.

over the years, he has given CU props when due. and he has been right more often than not.

go back to your 8 to 5 job and shut yer mouth!!:smile2:

the end was just a joke in fun.....:smile2:

Fowler isn't as bad as some, but that's really not saying much. He's still pretty much a tool, plus he also does ridiculous non-football crap maybe he's put up to do, but is just lame.

I believe Fowler's a pretty big donor. He's not allowed to donate to the AD because of his position with ESPN, but he gives to the Journalism school. He's a good Buff, guys.

I agree! Awesome win tonight! I just posted b/c I was pissed that the media's lack of ability to properly research things before putting them out as fact has now reached into sports reporting!

GO BUFFS! TYLER IS DA MAN!

Going Deep...(holy crap I've had a lot of beer tonight!)
