Rivals made its picks for the 2009-2010 Freshman All-American team. Burks made 2nd team behind the 1st team guards of Xavier Henry and John Wall, who will both be lottery picks in this year's NBA draft.

    Congrats, Alec!

    G ALEC BURKS, COLORADO
PARTICULARS: 6-6/185, Grandview (Mo.) High (3-star prospect)
BUZZ: Colorado went from one Big 12 victory in 2008-09 to six this season, in part because of Burks. He was the league's leading freshman scorer at 17.1 points per game and also led the conference in field-goal percentage (53.8 percent), a tremendous feat for a guard.

Funny how Henry beat out Burks on this list, yet Burks' numbers are better and Burks beat Henry for Big XII FOY.
