Anyone see Hawk's sidline interview after the game?

You know, with the blonde chick? She asked him what he said/did at halftime and he takes off his sunglasses and asks, "See this," referring to the gash in his beak. I mean, WTF? He looked like a total idot. He should have just done the interview and left it at that.

Plus, with FCS's "3 guys with cell phones" video, you couldn't even really tell anything was wrong with his nose. I thought he was just giving her some crazy eyed, "intimidating" stare and saying that's what he did at halftime....

I also noticed that the first place he gave credit for the turnaround was to Kiesau for the hurry-up, then to the coaching staff's adjustments, and then maybe a little bit to the players for stepping it up. Pretty much the opposite of the way the blame has gotten laid down after a loss. Personally I think Kiesau does deserve a ton of credit for coming out attacking with the no-huddle after halftime, but the real key to the game was the intensity. This team finally lost its zen and got pissed off, and it looked great. But that would be an awkward one for Hawk to talk about postgame, since I'm pretty sure the coaches had next to nothing to do with it.

Considering that the nose was hurt in the pre-game due to an accidental elbow while they were bouncing around... and the team laid an egg in the first half... I'm really not all that impressed with the bloody nose. To me, it just makes him look like a goob.

But I guess if against all odds and evidence to the contrary, if that 2nd half against Hawaii is somehow the beginning of RTD under Hawkins then I'll forget all that and just let it be part of Buffs lore.

Just proof he doesn't bleed black (silver) and gold.

Nope, this is the first I heard of it.

Hmm, the blonde chick on Fox, that narrows it right down

I did see it, he was excited what can you say. Props for the emotion.
