Why isn't Arky's OC (Petrino?) trying any screen passes to counteract the blitz? They're killing Mallett with the pressure.
Arky still has plenty of time.

That pass int call on Bama was terrible.

Yea, I'm surprised they snapped the ball on that 4th down. Impressive win by Bama considering they were down 20-7 on the road in a tough environment. But that's what championship teams do.

He only had to go 5 inches and the bama OL dominated the line of scrimmage the whole game as evidence by there over 250 yards rushing. It was an easy call to go for it especially up 4.
Come on Jimmy, that is never an "easy" call to make, especially on the road against a top 10 team.

The Arkansas defense played much better than I thought they would but Mallet didn't. I expected a 49-35 type game. They had the game until Mallet choked it away in the 4th quarter. He is a frontrunner. You guys can have our OC if you want him. We have two great RBs, a great Oline, and an average QB and we almost lost the game because he tries to win throwing the ball down the field too much. If he threw on pass on that last short TD I swear I would have burned all my Bama gear and become an Ole Miss fan.
That 4th down was hands down ballsy. Tried to draw them offsides, called timeouts. Then they just said **** it, we are going. I love the attitude they play with, thats what champs do.
