Still a fan of Hannibal "the Cannibal" Navies (sp?). Great name.
As in "No NU"
This just in. No Nebraska University. I love that!
Mister Jones will be cool. Guess we can't count him till Feb 2010.
Akarika Dawn is an other name that just rolls off the tongue.
Jaaaaaaaaaaaaay Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Flaaaaaaaanagin!!!!!!!!!
Oh. Ceee. Oliver!
i wanted to name my kid hannibal and the wife vetoed it. damnit.
Silence of the Lambs kinda ruined Hannibal the way that Hitler ruined Adolph.
About the only family who can get away with naming their kids Adolph any more have the last name of Coors.
All great names, but I don't think anything will beat Dick Punches...that's all time!
I think my favorite name to hear announced on game day was vaka manapuna. There was just something about the way he said it...
I have fun with the supermarket discount cards. The checkers are apparently instructed to look at the receipt (where your name is printed) and say, "Thank you, Mr. Smith (or whatever)." I've had all kinds of last names - everything from Dufus to ****tehead to Djvedgizchninkidink to Butt to Ioweyatenbucks to Mister. "Thank you, Mr. uh..., Mr.... Dufus."
Try it. It's fun.
I thought that "Dufus" or "****tehead" was your last name, not really but I couldn't pass up the opportunity.
Genius, Daaah! Absolutely genius. Too bad we don't have Safeway or Kingsoopers/City Market up here.
Off topic, but I actually had to work with a guy in Germany...his name was Helmut Schiner.
I knew noone would believe me so I had to ask him for a card to prove it.
Well what are you waiting for? Scan that ****, upload it, prove it. Rep to follow for persuasion.
Ill try to dig it up...last time I scanned it for my firends was in 1997. I just may be enough of a pack rat to still have it in some box in the basement.
I don't know if this counts, but if it doesn't belong in this thread it doesn't belong anywhere (which is a very real possibility).
There's an Italian Warrant Officer with whom I work at NATO with the name "Buffone". How cool is that? I'd kill for that name.
Frank Van Valkenburg
Oh hell, I'll chime in with the obligatory "Dave Logan".
I mean duh, isn't he the greatest Buff ever to don the Black & Gold?
Byron 'Wizzer' White and Rashan Salaam appriciate what Dave Logan did as a Buff, but he needs to send more Mullen kids up Hwy 36.
One of a handful to ever be drafted by NFL, MLB and NBA.
My folks were going to name me after my great Uncle Adolph. Fortunately they put Adolph together with my last name (which rhymes with Hitler) and decided, "Maybe not such a good idea"
Adolph ****ler? Excellent.
If I'm wrong, I could end up on ****ler's List.:smile2:
Hey HF, is your mom Mrs. Stifler?
(It's not a perfect rhyme, but American Pie is a classic.)
Separate names with a comma.
