Bokhua Reaches Main Draw Singles Final

DENTON, Texas – University of Colorado freshman Tina Bokhua earned a spot in the Green Singles Main Draw finals, while junior Alexandra Aiello and sophomore Nuria Ormeño Ruiz each won consolation singles matches on day two of the Wild West Shootout, Saturday at North Texas University.

CU is one of six schools participating in the three-day invitational featuring schools from the host Mean Green, Air Force, North Texas College State, Stephen F. Austin, and UT Arlington.

“We had another disappointing day in doubles,” said assistant tennis coach Blake Mosley of the Buffaloes 0-2 performance on the day. “But, I’m proud of the girls as they battled back and won three out of four singles. We are excited for Tina to compete in her first college tournament final tomorrow.”
