****braska ****ers in black

They are. But is Maryland a Big Ten team either?

Maryland is not a good fit, for sure. They are in desperate financial position, but they're an ACC basketball school at heart (founding member of ACC). They were always a bit of a red headed stepchild with no true rival. Rutgers joining eases their "fit" in the B1G a bit. But the ACC allowed Maryland to have a *chance* to win the league on occasion in football (2001) they're going to be buried in the B1G. And those big time ACC hoops games are irreplaceable. B1G has solid basketball right now, but nothing can compare to those nights when UNC and Duke come to town.

Dont see any reason why Mizzou would want to go to the B1G. They can make as much or more in the SEC. SEC want's to keep them for the St. Louis and KC TV markets. Missouri is as much a southern state as they are a midwest state.

It's all a haze with the shuffling, but Mizzou kind of started the avalanche by prematurely thinking they were B1G bound. They simply do not have the culture or resources to be a top flight SEC program.

Mizzou wanted the academic prestige of joining the B1G and thought it was going to happen. They're main rivalry other than KU is Illinois. Illinois may actually be a bigger deal for them.

Can't compete in resources with the Meatchickens and tOSU's of the B1G either. Their future regardless of where they are is to hope for an occassional big year where they get a decent bowl bid.

Given that they aren't likely to ever dominate in either confence I don't see a lot of reason why they would leave the SEC for the B1G.

****hole is mostly empty. Are they applauding UCLA for the dry ass-****ing?

I also would like to know the answer to this question as last week I had to listen to the typical "they applauded us as we left the field (after being prison sexed)" from clueless So Miss fans. Gracious winners, **** bag losers, fact.
