Gerkhe might play. If Adkins can go full speed we will play him.
This season can't end soon enough.
I don't get it. Nobody got meaningful snaps while Sefo was healthy, even when CU was down, or rarely, up by a bazillion points. Now that the back up is forced into action, and not doing half bad, we put in the guy behind him? Mystifying if it happens.
You definitely get the feeling that coach doesn't like Cade.
Loud and clear.
idk, didn't sound like he was really focused on tossing Gehrke in there, maybe just in case we're down by 40.
It is what it is. He clearly loves what Sefo brings to the table. He's mentioned the picks a couple of times, but given that it was his first start, and one of them was on 4th and 19 so who really cares he had to throw it up, but it's not like Sefo hasn't been a turnover machine during his time. Whatevs. I just hope Montez is the real deal if Mac isn't an Apsay fan.
What scares me is if Sefo comes back, and MikMac goes with him no matter what. CU has to have better QB play, and as much as I admire Sefo, he just has not been able to avoid TO's...and that has killed CU's chances far too many times IMO.
My bet: Apsay and Montez fight it out for in the Spring and Montez wins due to 6'5 cannon arm Mac no likey Apsay. Apsay transfers in the summer and Montez battles Sefo in the Fall. Unless Montez is abolutely lighting it up, Mac goes with Sefo.
Encouraging to hear about Adkins. Redshirts are not sacred.
I think he was just avoiding putting anything on record about him being healthy enough to play but being held out anyway. Partially to not throw him under the bus and partially to protect the case for a medical hardship if they decide to apply.
Heh. Thanks for the buzzkill.
