The Hampton Pirates were capsized as the Colorado Buffaloes bombarded them in Boulder. The Pirates fell to 4-5 on the year after a tough two-game stretch losing to SMU and CU. The Pirates arrrrrren’t as good as they were last year when Edward Joyner Jr. led them to a MEAC conference tournament win. The 2015 HBCU Digest Male Coach of The Year has captained three Pirates postseason runs, but right now the ship seems to be sinking under Joyner’s leadership.
