New head coach Jon Embree has secured his second and third commitments of 2011 with quarterback Stevie Dorman and cornerback Sherrard Harrington both verballing to the University over the last two days.

Stevie Dorman
Quarterback - Somerset, Texas - Somerset High School
Measurables: 6'4" 215lbs 4.8 forty
Rankings: Rivals - No ranking, Scout - No ranking, ESPN - 2 Star
Offers and Other Interested Schools: Hmmmm... Colorado?
Commentary: Not much is known about Stevie Dorman, but he is the nephew of former Buff quarterback Koy Detmer. He was lightly recruited but has hit the camp circuit pretty hard to help increase awareness around his abilities. It's an interesting commit, but it will be good to get another QB on campus.

Sherrard Harrington
Quarterback - Washington, DC - H.D. Woodson High School
Measurables: 6'4" 215lbs 4.8 forty
Rankings: Rivals - 3 Star, Scout - No ranking, ESPN - 3 star, 40th overall CB
Offers and Other Interested Schools: offers from Iowa, Duke, Marshall, Ohio, Tulsa. Chose between the Buffs and Iowa.
Commentary: From ESPN (click to read the rest of the evaluation):
Harrington shows great flashes on film of being major level defensive back prospect. Has a very good blend of size, speed, breaking quickness and toughness. When you look at his height and range, he may actually project best at safety or as a hard underneath corner. Makes a lot of plays around the football and finds it naturally in coverage. Soundly tracks the downfield pass in deep coverage, adjusts his body properly and shows great leaping and ball skills coming down with. Closes hard and with good burst underneath... Potential sleeper.
Welcome aboard gents!
