WOLCOTT – The University of Colorado women’s golf team faced windy conditions and tough pin placements on Tuesday in the second round of the Golfweek Conference Challenge held at Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo.

“Our players worked hard and tried their heart out,” said Colorado head coach Anne Kelly. “It just wasn’t a day that went well for anybody."

Tori Glenn, Megan Haase and Allie Zech are all playing as individuals for the Buffaloes this week.

Zech posted an 80 or 8-over par on the second day of competition. She had a solid start with a birdie on no. 10, her first hole of the day. The CU junior improved her mark on the tough par-3 from yesterday by three strokes. The Indian Wells, Calif. native was even-par through the first four holes then finished 3-over par on the back nine and went 5-over on the front. Zech is tied for 43[SUP]rd[/SUP] place with a 76-80–156 or 12-over par after the first two rounds.
