CLEVELAND – In the first set of fall Division I Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings, Colorado has scored a high of 172 points, capturing the men’s cross country title and finishing seventh overall in women’s cross country.
Michigan State is in second place with 160.5 and in third is Providence with 158.5 points. The Virginia Cavaliers are in fourth with a total of 157 points and rounding out the top five is Princeton with 156 total points.
To date, three fall NCAA championships have been completed with the following institutions capturing titles: women’s cross country – Providence; men’s cross country – Colorado; field hockey - Connecticut.
