Buff's on the Radio

Over the past few days there have been quite a few Buffs’ on the radio, both current and former Buffs. A couple days ago Chad Brown replaced Les Shapiro for a day. The other two guys asked Chad “What is wrong in Boulder? Is it a talent issue?” Chad’s response was “I was on the sideline and in the locker room for the game against Nebraska. They weren’t blowing us off the lines. The loss was not due to NU being more talented. The issues at CU don’t have to do with talent.” He also said over the summer he had done some personal coaching with individual players, and that the players are fired up and believe they can do well.

Tyler did an interview with Klatt and CJ (3 Buff QB’s at one) and talked about how excited he is to unveil the new wide receiver corp. He talked about how great it is to have them, and how much better it makes the team. He also said “If teams stack the line we are throwing.” He did speak a little on how he has matured as a QB, and has a much better understanding of what the defense is doing, and how to scramble to buy time and find an open WR.

Later yesterday Jalil Brown was on and they asked him about Tyler and the WR corp. He basically said there is a big difference between last year and this year, and the two squads are really pushing one another to be better. It made me kind a wonder if the DB’s started off so poorly last year because they were facing 2-wr sets with the likes of Ebnar & Espy on the field and Cody throwing them the ball.
