BOULDER —The University of Colorado men’s and women’s cross country teams will host the 28[SUP]th[/SUP] Annual Rocky Mountain Shootout on Saturday, September 28 at the Buffalo Ranch Cross Country Course on CU’s South Campus.

For the fifth straight year the Rocky Mountain Shootout will have two races. Open and unattached runners will compete in the same race at the collegiate competitors. The women’s 5.8-kilometer race will kick off the meet at 9 a.m. and the men’s 8k race will commence at 9:45 a.m.

The meet is one of the longest running collegiate cross country races in the nation and will have participants from some of the top NCAA Division I and Division II programs along the Front Range, which include Colorado’s third-ranked men and 15th-ranked women.
