Buffs Snap Losing Streak, Win 3-0

BOULDER – The University of Colorado soccer team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over the Detroit Titans on Sunday afternoon at Prentup Field.

The Buffaloes jumped out to an early lead when senior Carly Bolyard scored her team-leading third goal of the season in only the fourth minute of the match. Sophomore Brie Hooks crossed the ball from right to left and found Bolyard outside Detroit’s goal box. Bolyard got a nice foot on the ball and put it inside the left goal post, giving Colorado the 1-0 advantage.
