Buffs to honor Solder Saturday

Former Colorado offensive lineman Nate Solder will be the latest Buff to be honored with his name and number permanently placed on the facade of the Folsom Field pressbox, the school announced Monday.

Congrats to him indeed. But I thought he didn't qualify for it....

No? His potential draft status may not go hand in hand with his production on the field. Will be drafted on potential mostly. He wasn't great, but he was damn good. How about his off the field accomplishments. He is a stand-up guy, excelled in school...ect. I would say he's deserving.
 
Ya no question about that. I just thought the requirements were post-season award winner, 2 time All-American, or 3 time All-Conference.

Could be, I don't know what the "requirements" are. He met mine though, and it's cool that Colorado is proud to have had Nate.
