BOULDER – The University of Colorado lacrosse team travels to Newton, Mass. on Wednesday, March 25 to face No. 2 Boston College in its second match of a three-game road trip. First draw is set for 2 p.m. MT.

The Buffaloes (4-2) are coming off a double-overtime thriller against Michigan on Sunday (March 22) where they rallied from five goals down to defeat the Wolverines 14-13 in sudden-victory and earned their first road win of the season.

Wednesday’s game will mark the first meeting between the Buffs and Eagles. Colorado will look for its third-straight win and first victory over a ranked opponent in program history.

Boston College enters the contest with a perfect 9-0 record and is led by senior attacker Covie Stanwick, who ranks 12th in the nation in scoring with 27 goals.

Without seeing the game (just guessing from twitter), sounded like Buffs fought hard, had the BC lead down to 12-9 with ~10 minutes to go, but got outscored 5-0 in the last ~5 minutes to make the score look more lopsided than the bulk of the game was played.
