Byron Wesley Bails on the Trojans

We need to hope USC never finds a decent coach. Once they do, the rest of the conference is in trouble. They have more D-1 talent within a 20-mile radius of their campus than we have in the entire State of Colorado.

Enfield has one hell of a recruiting class coming in. USC may have found their coach.

If there is any sport where local talent has no bearing, it is basketball. When you look at any of the perennial highly-ranked schools, they are pulling their recruits from all over the country - perhaps I should say, all over the world.

You are so right that is why Ben Howland still has a job, and why Boyle is on the hot seat.

On the positive side of the ledger, you can only take 3-4 kids a year. Tad seemingly has a good reputation in the SoCal area. UCLA and USC can't get them all.

Agree with the statement about high ranked school recruiting country wide, but lets not kid ourselves, this is USC, not KU or UK. They will be dangerous if they can parlay that constant crop of good, local recruits who arent good enough for the UK/KUs of the world into a good team that can go out and compete country wide for talent.
