The student section intentionally misstiming the countodnw to get in the players head is pretty good

CUnit does do the countdown thing, but they do the countdown early. Need to switch it up!

We do this all the time. I'm not sure I've ever seen it work.

They do this regularly, but maybe they need to step up the enthusiasm. Even if it alters one pass or one shot per game, it helps. CUnit is awesome.

What the "Izzone" does is this:

In the first half they count down from 6 when the shot clock is at 10, in the second half they count down from 10 when the shot clock is at 6. Or so says the reddit thread about this video. Switching it up at half seems like a good idea to me.

I have seen it work multiple times over the years. At a minimum it messes up the visiting teams tempo since they at least need to look double check the time on the clock.

I know they did it last year, and I want to say it was against U of A. Because I am pretty sure Miller called a TO right after and ripped into them for listening to the students.
