Central Michigan-Toledo

Hawk has a handful of signature wins and many more signature losses.
This will go down as one of his most notable signature losses.

This Toledo team went nowhere this season, they weren't very good at all.
Shame on you Dan, for having the team so poorly prepared against such a mediocre opponent. :sad2: We never should have been blown out by this weak, Mid-American club. :censored: :pissed3:

We need to remember losses like this every time we have a moment of weakness and think about keeping this guy around for another year :bang:

Nice guy - he can be

Helped the program through some of its darkest hours - absolutely

Coaching the Buffs for another year - I sure hope not!!

And according to Bob Davie, Toledo was so much faster than the Buffs it was men vs. boys :wow:

To be fair, although CU played its worst game of the year @ Toledo, the Rockets played their best game of they year by far that night. I've seen them many times since, they were just on fire vs. CU (offensively). I think they would have beaten alot of teams that night.

I don't believe in coincidences.

We were not prepared at all for that game, and we did not have the athleticism (on the field at least) to bail us out of our lack of preparation.

Sure, the team has been making adjustments since that game to overcome their weaknesses that were exposed by Toledo, but if they played the game again can anyone be absolutely certain they wouldn't beat us again?
