The day the Buffs recorded their first win on the way to a National Title. Is there any doubt?
We didn't start 1-0
Wrote that wrong, I meant to say the day the Buffs got their first win of the 1990 season.
31-31 tie versus the ****ing volunteers in anaheim in some stupid preseason bowl thing.
mrs. liver thought i wouldn't get out of the stadium alive as i screamed at johnny ****ing majors for going for the tie instead of the win at the end. i figured our D would get the stop and our Buffs would escape with a 31-30 win. but, no, majors wussed out. i thought our nc hopes were cratered! we started the year 1-1-1. unbelievable.
Was that you ? :smile2:
14 point lead with like 7 or 8 minutes left. Our defense sucked that day. :sad2:
well, if you heard a guy yelling: NO, YOU MUTHA****ING ********* BASTARD!! NO YOU ****ING COWARD!! NO. GO FOR THE ****ING WIN YOU DIRTY NO-GOOD CHEATIN' ****HEAD FROM THE SEC!!! NOOOOOOOO. I HATE YOU. YOU'VE SUCKED FOREVER. YOU EVEN SUCKED AT PITT. AIYEEEEEEE!!!
then, yeah, that was me.
Didn't Hagan throw 3 or 4 interceptions in that game?
Damn. Tennessee had Alvin Harper AND Carl Pickens on that team.
I was at that game and it was a thriller. Pritch started for a suspended EB and went for like 300 rushing yards that day.
217 yards on 20 carries, 2 TD's. But still impressive for a WR!
That defense was stacked too. Loaded with talent.
The majority of this year's freshmen were born in 1990.
It would be extremely fitting for CU to win it all again exactly 20 years later, 2010.
Symmetry: Clark Evans approved.
