Colorado Beats Arizona 53-51 to Win Pac 12 Championship

Colorado wins the Pac 12 Championship with a 53-51 upset of fourth-seeded Arizona. A close game throughout, Colorado took a 30-28 halftime lead and could not find separation until the end of the game.


The Buffaloes were led by Spencer Dinwiddie who put up a team high 14 points. Additional effort came from Carlon Brown who had 13 points, Andre Roberson who had 10, and Austin Dufault who had eight.
Arizona brings the regular season and conference tournament to an end with a 23-11 overall record as well as a 12-6 record and fourth place regular season finish in the Pac 12. Arizona went through 5th-seeded UCLA (66-58) and then 9th-seeded Oregon State (72-61) on the path to the Pac 12 Championship game.
Kyle Fogg led Arizona in scoring, registering 14 points. Other contributions included 13 points from Solomon Hill, 11 from Jesse Perry, and six from Brendon Lavender.

Colorado ends with a 23-11 overall record, fifth place in the Pac 12 and an 11-7 regular season record to complete its Pac 12 Championship run. The Buffaloes knocked off 11th-seeded Utah (53-41), then 3rd-seeded Oregon (63-62), and finally second-seeded California (70-59) on the road to victory.
