Colorado's Offensive Line

How many acl surgeries has he had now though? Im hoping he will be full go but the health of his knees even when he is 100% worries me.

I believe it is 3.

The first was for the high school knee injury.

There was the repair of the botched initial surgery.

There was the repair of the other knee.

Athletes who have repeated knee injuries very, very rarely end up fulfilling their potential. I am not at all trying to be down on MTM, but if you are expecting high-level play out of a guy who has had 3 major knee surgeries, you are really setting yourself up for disappointment. If he can contribute at all, that's a major plus in my book. It really is too bad for him... he obviously has all the talent in the world. Facts are facts though, and the precedent is very well established.

Hopefully he proves me 100% wrong.

Mark Schlereth is the exception to this rule. Let's hope MTM can be another Mark Schlereth.
