SIAP, but I thought it deserved its own thread.

Hawkins announced in his presser today that Ashley Ambrose would be taking over for Greg Brown as CU's Defensive Backs Coach. This had been widely reported, but this was the first time I'd seen a CU official confirm it.

Congrats, Ashley! I have little doubt that he'll do a great job. I've already been impressed with his recruiting.

Also, Ryan Walters will join the CU staff as a Defensive Technical Intern. Presumably, he'll be assisting Ambrose and focusing on the development of our safeties. Great Buff and I feel very fortunate to have him back as part of the program. Congrats, Ryan! May this be the start of a tremendous coaching career!

Now let's get the damn WR coach hired so we can move on to spring ball.

Glad to see Walters staying in the program. Great Buff and will be a great influence on the young dbs

 He was an assassin in the back field. Loved watching him whack people.

I am really hoping to see great things from Ambrose, the big thing will be if he is able to make Jimmy Smith take that next step towards greatness.
