NAPA, Calif. – The Colorado and Oregon women’s golf teams will co-host the inaugural Silverado Showdown here April 14 and 15 at the prestigious Silverado Resort and Spa.

The 54-hole tournament will begin with two rounds of golf on Monday, April 14 and conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday, April 15, with an estimated 8:30 a.m. shotgun start planned for each day. Spectators are welcome to come watch the future stars of women’s golf free of charge.

The tournament came to be after a discussion between Colorado and Oregon’s head coaches. CU’s Anne Kelly and UO’s Ria Scott agreed that their teams needed an event to compete in before the Pac-12 Championships, which this season begin on April 25.

After the first round and part of the 2nd and the Buffs are in 11th. In this field, that's a decent spot for them to be in.

Buffs move up to 9th place going into the 3rd and final round tomorrow. If they can keep this up, I think that you can consider it a very successful tournament for them.
