Buffs look to take on Oregon on their way to the MPSF tournament

Faceoff: 12pm MST
TV: Pac-12 Network

A win today for CU secures them the #3 seed in the field of 6.

CU sits as 11-4, with all 4 of those losses being to ranked opponents.

I think we've secured the 3-seed.

UC Davis is 1 game behind CU and the Buffs own the tiebreaker (14-3 win). Plus, they're playing at USC today so it's likely moot.

Where this really matters is national ranking, RPI and an opportunity to be in the NCAA tournament field.

Huge game for the program.

If you get Pac-12 Network, the game is streaming today: http://pac-12.com/live

Now 9-2 Buffs.

Ducks switching goalies.

Some beautiful interior passing on this one. Oregon looks like a pretty good physical team (they've forced some turnovers with pressure defense and are doing decently in draw controls), but have left some open passing lanes near the goal, and the Buffs have made some GREAT passes through those lanes to get quality chances.

Buffs need to regroup a little bit, as lead is down to 9-5 at halftime, and ducks look energized.

Good half. Worried about letting the mo get away and letting the Ducks get back within reach those last couple minutes.

Need a strong start to the 2nd.

Oh boy- only 10-8 now. TO Buffs

Buffs starting to make some turnovers on their offensive end, and the ducks are currently solving the Buff defense.

Buffs looking a little unsure on offense and drop a few balls (while still retaining possession), so Coach Elliott calls TO with 7:01 left.

Game being delayed with close examination of the stick Lautman used on her goal, but it IS eventually upheld.
