CU Basketball Media Day

how would that be amazing? Wes is the best front court defender on the team. best case scenario is for Wes to become more aggressive on offense and be more vocal.

Wes has always been more effective when not on the court with J40.

Because he doesn't play well when Scott is on the floor at the same time so if Tory could start with Scott and then have Wes come in for Scott to keep him fresh and lead the second unit I think that would be amazing.

wouldn't it be better for Wes just to step up rather than him stay the same?

I just don't see it happening really but I am not his biggest fan so I would rather see Tory. Wes isn't intense enough on the court, especially for a post player.

Scott said today that Wes' two biggest improvements this year have been being more aggressive on offense and being more vocal.

That would be great. I will believe it when I see it but I still like Tory's potential more, especially at the four. Again I am biased as I am not a huge fan of Gordon.

I think Wes has the most potential for a long NBA career of anyone on the roster.

Wes has always been more effective when not on the court with J40.

In '14 P12 season, Wes ranked 1st in the P12 in Offensive Reb % & 3rd in Block %. Josh & Wes shared the front court a ton in '13-'14 season.

Wes improved his offensive efficiency last yr in every category but he only took 2 more field goal attempts in conference (when Scott missed the most time) than he did in '14. His % of possessions & shots actually stagnated from '14 even w/o Scott but he maintained elite rebounding & blocking stats in the P12. He did, however, become a beast at getting to the line & finished 5th in FT rate in conference play.

Offensive aggressiveness is really all thats holding Gordon back from being a 1st or 2nd team ALL-P12 player.
