TEMPE, Ariz. -- A majority of the Colorado football team was recruited to the program by a coach who preached to never get too high or too low after wins and losses.

    I was gonna say:

"weren't the weeded out already complacent?" but yours works too.

It would probably be easier to list the ones who aren't.

This would be funny, if it weren't true.

It's always amazing to me how bitchy and ill-informed the comments are with the newspapers versus what we see on the message boards. With a Boulder paper, it's this weird dynamic where they want a coach who is able to win every game while also having the "Up with People" soundtracks filling his iPod. This is how we get coaches like Neuheisel and Hawkins while Mac isn't even able to lead the Homecoming festivities in this town. It's like this town tells the CU AD, "You better win, but you better do it our way (even though our way has never been shown to win anywhere)."
