Kyle Washington has been down Position Switch Alley before. Having that experience under his belt is allowing him to attack his move from safety to Will linebacker this spring with little worry, though he admits it might have helped if coaches gave him a little more notice about their plans than the week or so he had this time.

Becoming much more clear why we didn't recruit any LBs this year.

I didn't realize that Washington was 220 lbs. With his speed and coverage skills, he could end up being pretty special at the Will LB spot.

If he is a legit 220, I really like this move. We need some versatility in our LB corps with the varying offenses we see throughout the conference. I have been a big fan of Washington's athleticism since he committed, hope he makes an impact.
