QUICKLY: The University of Colorado lacrosse team ended its first ever postseason game in dramatic fashion. Trailing by three goals in the second half, the Buffaloes (11-7 overall) fought back and claimed a 9-8 win behind a sudden victory goal by Johnna Fusco. No. 3 seed CU will now take on the reigning Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament champion and No. 18 ranked Stanford in the conference semifinals on Friday at 7 p.m.

TOURNAMENT CENTRAL: The No. 3-seeded Buffs will face the No. 2-seeded Cardinal at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 2 at Denver’s Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. An All-Session Pass is available for $25, while individual game tickets are $10 for an adult (16+) and $5 for a student with a valid ID or for a youth. Free parking is available in lots 103 and 108. Game Notes

Playing like a team that was emotionally drained from yesterday. They're also playing a team that is better than the Buffs and seems to match up well with us. I hoped this wouldn't be the case tonight, but I kind of saw this coming.

I expect to seem more fight in the 2nd half.

Most importantly, we should all be damn proud and thankful of how this team represented as Buffs in its first season.

I honestly expected most of the games to be like this one. What they have done this year is special and I'm very excited to see what they can do as the team gets older.
