CU football: MacIntyre says he's close to hiring defensive coordinator

Head coach Mike MacIntyre won't be the defensive coordinator at Colorado. MacIntyre said Tuesday he is close to being able to announce new additions to his defensive coaching staff, including a new coordinator to replace Kent Baer, who left for UNLV in December.

yikes, way to set expectations by comparing it to the lindgren hire. Let's hope it works out just like that!
